OL Lyonnes 5-0 Paris FC: Dumornay hat-trick as Yohannes conducts title win | OneFootball

OL Lyonnes thrashed Paris FC 5-0 in Friday's Arkema Première Ligue final, featuring a Melchie Dumornay hat-trick. Lily Yohannes dictated midfield as the champions cruised to the crown.

According to L'Équipe, Dumornay and Yohannes fronted a dominant display. Tabitha Chawinga ended her drought with goals on 11 and 17 minutes, the first from Yohannes after slicing wide on 16, and the second laid on by Lindsey Heaps as she twice beat Célina Ould Hocine, before Dumornay curled into the top corner on 22 after a one-two with Bacha on the left.

Heaps went close on 36, while Klaudia Jedlinska’s long-range effort was blocked by Wendie Renard on 44. At the break Jedlinska was replaced by Hawa Sangaré, who immediately clattered Renard on 46.

After the restart, Dumornay missed an Ashley Lawrence cross on 50, then made it 4-0 on 60 from Delphine Becho’s delivery, Becho having beaten Deja Davis. Melween N'Dongala, tormented by Dumornay, was beaten on the third and fourth goals and departed on 66, while Ould Hocine blocked Dumornay on 65 and Chavas saved on 73. Davis also went off for Greboval on 66 and Chawinga made way for Brand on 70.

Yohannes, superb throughout, was withdrawn for Shrader on 75. Heaps, in tears and embraced by team-mates in her final Lyonnes outing before joining Denver Summit, left to a warm ovation for Katoto on 75 after earlier near misses on 52, 55 and 66. Azzaro replaced Ould Hocine on 85 before Brand teed up Dumornay for her third on 89, moments after Yerro had lost the ball, and Yerro was booked for a stamp on Brand on 90+1.
