OL Lyonnes ‘to target’ Salma Paralluelo after Barcelona deal ends | OneFootball

OL Lyonnes have been linked with Salma Paralluelo, who is out of contract at Barcelona this summer. Mundo Deportivo reports that Michele Kang’s club are interested in the 22-year-old forward.

Lindsey Heaps is set for her final outing for OL Lyonnes on Friday evening in the French championship final against Paris FC, before a move to Denver. She is not expected to be the only departure this summer.

While several exits are anticipated, arrivals are likely to be limited. Caroline Weir, whose Real Madrid deal is expiring, is tipped to join on a free and succeed Heaps.

Paralluelo, who hit two goals and an assist against Lyon in the Champions League final, is reaching the end of a four-year contract with the Blaugrana. Her combination of youth and potential has prompted leading European clubs, Lyon among them, to position themselves.

The race could be complicated by English competition able to offer a sizeable signing-on bonus. A renewed push to extend Paralluelo also cannot be ruled out, with Barcelona already having seen major departures, including Alexia Putellas and Mapi León.

The summer transfer window opens on 1 July and closes on 18 September.
