Olivier Frapolli ‘set to take’ Grenoble job after seven seasons at Laval | OneFootball

Grenoble are set to appoint Olivier Frapolli as head coach after his seven-season spell at Laval, according to L'Équipe.

He would replace interim boss Frédéric Gueguen, 55, who has led the side since 23 March and will not continue with the first team.

Frapolli, 54, guided Laval back into Ligue 2 and kept them there.

Their survival was secured via a late May play-off against Rouen, which finished 1-1 then 1-0.

The potential appointment comes amid an active summer coaching carousel across Ligue 1 and Ligue 2.
