Olivier Pantaloni favourite to replace Carles Martínez Novell at Toulouse | OneFootball

Carles Martínez Novell’s contract at Toulouse FC is up at the end of the season, and the Spaniard is not expected to extend, as per a report from L’Équipe. The favourite to replace him is outgoing Lorient FC manager Olivier Pantaloni. 

Having arrived in 2023, Martínez Novell may have reached the end of the road at Toulouse. His contract is up and Girona could be a potential destination, although, contacted by L’Équipe, his entourage did not wish to respond to the links. 

Whilst L’Équipe understands that Toulouse’s hierarchy have not been in contact with any potential replacements, Pantaloni is, as things stand, the standout candidate. Pantaloni has already confirmed that he will leave Lorient at the end of the season. Having brought Les Merlus up from Ligue 2 last season, he currently has the Breton club in ninth in Ligue 1. Pantaloni would be interested in a move to Le TéFéCé, L’Équipe understands.
