Olivier Pantaloni has been appointed head coach of OGC Nice, replacing Claude Puel. His arrival comes weeks after a Coupe de France final.
According to Le Progres, the 59-year-old has agreed a two-season contract after spending the last two campaigns in charge of Lorient.
Puel had taken over from Franck Haise at the end of December 2025 on a six-month mandate, with the club in a severe internal and sporting crisis.
Nice preserved their Ligue 1 status in the relegation play-offs against Saint-Étienne, drawing 0-0 then winning 4-1.
Pantaloni spent most of his coaching career at AC Ajaccio. At Lorient he won promotion to the top flight in 2025, then kept the team up comfortably last season with a 10th-place finish.
