Olympiacos ‘to target’ Wolves’ Jose Sa as Gilchrist loan links surface | OneFootball

Olympiacos are reportedly considering a move for Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa, while Portsmouth and Blackburn Rovers have been linked with West Brom right-back Alfie Gilchrist.

Sa’s former club are said to view him as a replacement for Kontantis Tzolakis, who has attracted Premier League interest, and the 33-year-old is into the final year of his contract at Molineux.

He made 122 appearances for Olympiacos before joining Wolves in 2021, and has since played 170 times for the Old Gold in all competitions, keeping 40 clean sheets.

Sky Sports News reports that Portsmouth and Blackburn are weighing up Gilchrist as a loan option this summer. A Portsmouth commentator stated on X that Pompey are not in the race.

The 22-year-old joined the Baggies from Chelsea last summer and made 15 appearances in all competitions last season. He scored once in 17 games for Chelsea and featured 32 times on loan at Sheffield United in 2024-25.

Marca claims Unai Emery and Aston Villa have approved Andres Garcia’s loan to Getafe. The report says Garcia has arrived in Spain, with an announcement expected in the coming hours after he turned down Valencia.

Sporx reports Villa are interested in Galatasaray midfielder Gabriel Sara and plan a £25.6million bid as they seek to replace Youri Tielemans after his £35million move to Manchester United. Sara scored 21 goals in 93 matches for Norwich City between 2022 and 2024, then eight in 87 over the past two years in Türkiye, and made his Brazil debut earlier this year.
