Olympiakos ‘to target’ Jose Sa, as West Brom man linked with loan | OneFootball

Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa is reportedly attracting interest from former club Olympiakos, who are assessing cover for Kontantis Tzolakis amid Premier League attention.

Sa is in the final year of his Molineux contract. He made 122 appearances in his first Olympiakos stint before joining Wolves in 2021, and has since played 170 times with 40 clean sheets.

Championship rivals Portsmouth and Blackburn Rovers are considering West Brom right-back Alfie Gilchrist as a loan option this summer, Sky Sports News has claimed.

Portsmouth commentator Andrew Moon said on X that Portsmouth are not in the race. Gilchrist, 22, joined from Chelsea last summer and made 15 appearances in all competitions last term.

He scored once in 17 outings for Chelsea and featured 32 times on loan at Sheffield United in 2024-25.

Unai Emery and Aston Villa have approved Andres Garcia’s loan move to Getafe, according to Marca, which claims he has arrived in Spain with an announcement expected within hours after he snubbed Valencia.

Garcia, 23, has made 13 Premier League appearances for Villa since signing from Levante in 2025.

Villa are also reportedly interested in Galatasaray midfielder Gabriel Sara as a replacement for Youri Tielemans following his £35 million move to Manchester United. Sporx reports Villa plan a £25.6 million bid for the 27-year-old, who scored 21 in 93 for Norwich City between 2022 and 2024. He has eight goals in 87 appearances over the past two years in Türkiye and made his Brazil debut earlier this year.
