Olympiakos ‘want’ Jose Sa as West Brom defender linked with loan | OneFootball

Olympiacos are reportedly interested in re-signing Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa, viewing him as a possible replacement for Kontantis Tzolakis, who has drawn Premier League attention. Sa is into the final year of his contract at Molineux.

The 33-year-old played 122 times for Olympiacos before joining Wolves in 2021, and has since made 170 appearances, keeping 40 clean sheets.

Sky Sports News claims Portsmouth and Blackburn Rovers are considering West Brom right-back Alfie Gilchrist on loan this summer. However, Portsmouth commentator Andrew Moon stated on X that Pompey are not in the race.

Gilchrist, 22, joined the Baggies from Chelsea last summer and made 15 appearances in all competitions last term. He previously scored once in 17 games for Chelsea and featured 32 times on loan at Sheffield United in 2024-25.

Unai Emery and Aston Villa are said to have approved Andres Garcia’s loan to Getafe. Marca reports that Garcia has arrived in Spain, with an official announcement expected within hours after he turned down Valencia.

Garcia, 23, has made 13 Premier League appearances for Villa since arriving from Levante in 2025.

Villa are also reportedly interested in Galatasaray midfielder Gabriel Sara to replace Youri Tielemans after his £35 million move to Manchester United. Sporx reports Villa plan a £25.6 million bid for the 27-year-old, who hit 21 in 93 for Norwich City between 2022 and 2024, and has eight in 87 in Türkiye. He made his Brazil debut earlier this year.
