L'Équipe reports that Olympique Lyonnais have unveiled their 2026-27 away kit, a tribute to the city’s silk-weaving canuts and Lyon’s textile heritage.

Lyon sit fourth in Ligue 1 and remain in the chase for Champions League qualification, with a pivotal home meeting with Lens on Sunday at 21:00.

The shirt honours the 19th century canuts of Croix-Rousse, featuring a subtle tone-on-tone silk-inspired pattern, refined finishes evoking the fluidity and sheen of Lyon fabrics, and a colour drawn from historic magenta pigments.

Inside the collar, the inscription reads "Pour les canuts".

The club showcased the design on Tuesday in a campaign featuring Endrick, Tyler Morton, and academy graduates Corentin Tolisso and Khalis Merah.
