In recent hours, Timothy Weah has followed in his father's footsteps. After PSG, the son moved on to Italy and Juventus, and has now signed for OM. Although George Weah’s stint at Marseille was brief—just six months—it left a strong enough impression for him to encourage his son to make the move.

The president of Liberia was even present at the airport when Timothy arrived. “He played here,” confirmed the American international during his introductory press conference. “So it was a dream for me to play here.
