On-loan Barcelona talent already ‘impressing’ his new teammates | OneFootball

A member of the loan army at La Liga giants Barcelona has not taken at all long to make a positive impression at his new club.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Áron Yaakobishvili as the player in question.

Youngster Yaakobishvili, often referred to as ‘Yako’, is a 19-year-old goalkeeper who recently committed to a new contract at Barcelona, after at one point looking as though he was primed to close the Blaugrana chapter of his career.

This culminated in a loan move to La Liga 2 outfit FC Andorra over the summer, in a bid to secure for the Hungarian consistent senior playing time.

And the move, to date, has proven a success story for all three parties.

Yaakobishvili has quickly established himself as the new no.1 at Andorra, featuring from the off in all three of the club’s league fixtures thus far in 2025/26.

Not only that, but the shot-stopper has made a stellar impression in the dressing room.

As per a report from Sport:

‘His mentality has impressed the Andorra dressing room. Beyond his performances, his determination and professionalism that has caught the attention of the coaches.’
