On-loan Endrick defends Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé | OneFootball

On-loan Real Madrid starlet Endrick has this week moved to throw his backing behind Blancos frontman and former teammate Kylian Mbappé.

The name of France international Mbappé has of course taken its place centre stage in the headlines in Spain’s capital over the last week.

This comes after the former Paris Saint-Germain standout turned heads with his activities away from the pitch.

Sidelined owing to an injury complaint, Mbappé made use of the opportunity to enjoy some downtime courtesy of a vacation on a yacht with his partner.

Fresh off Real Madrid being sent packing from the Champions League and seeing their hopes of silverware for the campaign ended, many of a Blancos persuasion were in turn quick to label Mbappé’s actions as being in poor taste.

This led to a considerable backlash against the striker.

Speaking during an interview with SoFoot this week, the aforementioned Endrick was therefore drawn on the situation of his fellow goalscorer in Madrid.

And the Brazilian, currently plying his trade in France with Lyon, went on to assure:

“I don’t care about what people say about Mbappé. I hope he wins the Golden Boot again. What I see is that he’s helping Real Madrid by scoring a lot of goals.”
