One Barcelona youngster has left the club’s stars ‘speechless’ in pre-season training | OneFootball

An insight into the impact being made by an up-and-coming member of the youth ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona in first-team training this week has been forthcoming online.

The info comes courtesy of Blaugrana insider Gerard Romero, and points towards Pedro ‘Dro’ Fernández as the player in question.

Dro, for his part, is a 17-year-old attacking midfielder, who is also capable of lining out on the wing.

The Spanish starlet spent this past season plying his trade with Barcelona’s U19s, piquing the attentions of Hansi Flick and his staff with his performances along the way.

So much so that Dro was afforded a call-up to first-team training for pre-season in Catalunya’s capital this week.

And safe to say, the youngster has since made his presence very much felt…

As revealed by the aforementioned Gerard Romero, speaking on his official YouTube channel, Dro has nothing short of dazzled those at The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

Hansi Flick is understood to have been utilising the teen on the wing in training matches, a role in which he has thoroughly impressed.

In fact, Barca’s headmaster, as well as a number of members of the club’s senior squad, are said to have been left ‘speechless’ by the talents of another potential La Masia star in the making.
