Liam Rosenior’s future is in serious doubt after the defeat to Brighton last night, Sky journalist Kaveh Solhekol revealed.

Five defeats in a row for Chelsea, without scoring a goal, have manager Liam Rosenior on the brink of a sacking.
On Sky Sports, Kaveh Solhekol said he thought it was almost the end for the former Strasbourg manager:
“I think it’s touch and go, whether he remains as the Chelsea head coach,” Solhekol said.
“I thought it was interesting after the game last night that he seemed to suggest that he would be picking the team for the FA Cup semi final against Leeds on Sunday, because he made a point of saying, I’m going to make sure I pick players who are going to represent the club in the proper way.”
We wouldn’t read too much into that – of course Rosenior is going to think and believe and act like he’s picking the next team until he’s told he’s not. It’s no proof of anything. If anything, it sounds like a desperate attempt from the manager to make a promise that things will be different for that game.
Solhekol added that he’s “pretty sure this morning, at Chelsea’s training ground, the senior executives there will be discussing what happened last night and what they need to do next.”
Solhekol pointed out that Liam Rosenior had been telling the fans that all was OK for a long time when it clearly wasn’t.
Rosenior really did flip this time though, saying that only a few of his players had actually put any effort in during the game.
