Netherlands v Sweden

This has the potential to be one of the best group stage matches at this World Cup.

Sweden blew Tunisia away last week with their 5-1 win and will now be hoping to keep up that momentum against a Dutch outfit who laboured versus Japan.

Germany v Côte d'Ivoire

Germany have produced the biggest beating of the tournament so far with their 7-1 hammering of Curaçao.

Don't expect anything remotely similar here with the Côte d'Ivoire one of the better defensive sides in the competition.

This could be a close one.

Our prediction: Germany 1-1 Côte d'Ivoire

Ecuador v Curaçao

Curaçao's equaliser against Germany in the last round was one of the defining moments of the World Cup so far.

But unfortunately that could be all the tiny nation has to cheer for in this tournament with Ecuador their next opponents.

The South American side have an incredible defensive record and won't be giving away too many chances in this one.

Our prediction: Ecuador 1-0 Curaçao

Tunisia v Japan

Japan showed great character in their last match against the Netherlands, coming from behind twice to draw 2-2.

Don't expect too much of the same in this match though, with Tunisia having been taught a lesson by Sweden in their first match.

This could be another humbling for the north Africans.

Our prediction: Tunisia 0-3 Japan

Which player should I look out for?

At club level it's been a mixed season for Viktor Gyökeres.

The towering forward joined Arsenal and although he did win the Premier League, was roundly derided and struggled to reach the heights many thought he would last summer.

For Sweden though, he is a different beast and looked exceptional in his country's 5-1 win last time out against Tunisia.

Expect a few more goals when he comes up against Netherlands.
