Only five Italians have won the Champions League with foreign clubs, and Riccardo Calafiori is not the only Azzurri player who could join this group this season.

Which Italian players have won the Champions League with foreign clubs?

Calafiori’s Arsenal have secured a spot in the 2025-26 Champions League Final by beating Atletico Madrid 2-1 on aggregate in the semi-final.

PSG, in fact, have another Italian player in their team: third-choice keeper Renato Marin.

The 19-year-old was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, but holds an Italian passport and has made 12 appearances with the Italy U19 team.

A former Roma goalkeeper, Marin joined PSG on a free transfer from the Giallorossi last summer and has made two appearances at a senior level with the Ligue 1 giants this term.

Marin’s PSG will visit Bayern Munich in the second leg of the Champions League semis at the Allianz Arena in Munich tonight with the French side holding a 5-4 lead.
