When it comes to predicting what the final 2025/26Premier League table will look like after the 38th round of fixtures in May 2025, Opta have done some updated analysis.

Using their latest data simulations, Opta analysis has shown this as the most likely 2025/26 Premier League table come the end of the season – Predicted table as at 11 November 2025:

So when it comes to Newcastle United, Opta currently believe NUFC most likely to finish twelfth this season

As for the chances of winning the Premier League in 2025/26, Opta rating that a 0.07% chance.

The Opta model currently predicting a 6.49% chance of Newcastle United qualifying for the Champions League via finishing top four.

However, Newcastle United would have a better chance of Champions League football than via that top four prediction, if the top five in the Premier League qualify, as happened last season. Although that does of course massively also depend on United improving their league form and looking capable of challenging towards the upper end…
