Osasuna have tied Raúl García de Haro to a new deal until 30 June 2031, a three-year extension to his 2028 contract that includes a 40 million euro release clause, the club announced.
At 25, he has just delivered his best season at El Sadar, scoring 14 in 2025-26, seven in LaLiga and seven in the Copa del Rey, finishing as that competition’s top scorer.
Ante Budimir remains the attacking reference and the club’s all-time top scorer in the top flight, but Pamplona knows he will not lead the line forever. The renewal is a strategic move, and García has shown he can partner Budimir, compete for minutes and respond when needed.
Across three seasons, largely as a substitute, he has hit 27 goals, putting him alongside favourites Pierre Webó and Nino and ahead of Savo Milosevic, Valdo and Kike Sola. The signs suggest 26/27 could bring further progress.
Born in Olesa de Montserrat in November 2000, he moved young to Granada and came through Guadix, Almería and Real Betis. He debuted in LaLiga with Betis, then exploded at Mirandés in 2022-23 with 19 goals and eight assists, drawing widespread interest.
Osasuna signed him in summer 2023 and are now seeing the return on that investment. The club paid 6 million euros for 65 percent of his rights, later rising to 75 percent via Chimy’s move to the Andalusians, that extra 10 percent valued at 1 million, totalling 7 million for 75 percent.
With the World Cup edging closer and optimism for next season, Osasuna have secured the forward seen as the future leader of their attack when the time comes to succeed Budimir.
