Fotomaç reports that Galatasaray have enlisted Victor Osimhen to persuade international team-mate Ademola Lookman to join the Süper Lig champions.
As part of the push, Osimhen is said to have contacted Lookman personally, portraying the squad as a tight-knit group and urging him to come to Istanbul.
The club are aiming to add a high-level left-sided or central attacker for 2026/27. Lookman’s versatility across the frontline, potential cover amid speculation over Mauro Icardi’s future, and European pedigree are seen as strong fits.
Any move would be financially complex. Lookman only joined Atlético Madrid in the winter for €35 million and has settled quickly under Diego Simeone, delivering 24 appearances, nine goals and four assists.
Atlético are expected to resist following Antoine Griezmann’s departure and amid squad adjustments involving Julián Álvarez and Alexander Sørloth. Galatasaray would likely need a lucrative offer and a convincing sporting plan to bring the Spanish club to the table.
