Ousmane Dembélé and Pierre Sage headline UNFP awards 2025-26

Ousmane Dembélé retained the Ligue 1 player of the year as the UNFP awards celebrated the 2025-26 campaign at the Palais Brongniart on Monday evening. According to L'Équipe, Lens collected two major honours through head coach Pierre Sage and goalkeeper Robin Risser. Votes were cast by players, coaches and referees.
Dembélé also won the Ligue 1 goal of the season by public vote. Désiré Doué was named young player, Risser took the goalkeeper prize and Sage was chosen as coach of the year.
In Ligue 2, Zouriko Davitachvili of ASSE was voted best player. Quentin Braat of Rodez earned the goalkeeper award, Stéphane Dumont of Troyes was named best coach and Dame Gueye of Le Mans claimed goal of the season.
In the Arkema Première Ligue, Melchie Dumornay of OL Lyonnes took the top player prize. Mylène Chavas of Paris FC was best goalkeeper and Montpellier’s Justine Rouquet won the young player award.
Michael Olise of Bayern Munich was recognised as the best French player abroad. Refereeing honours went to Jérôme Brisard and assistant Hussein Ocak in Ligue 1, and Alexandre Perreau-Niel and assistant Frédéric Hebrard in Ligue 2. The UNFP-Fondaction civic award was presented to Didier Drogba.
Teams of the season were also named in Ligue 1, Ligue 2 and the Arkema Première Ligue.
