Star forward has provided an update ahead of Arsenal showdown
Ousmane Dembele has declared himself fit to face Arsenal in the Champions League final.
The Paris Saint-Germain star has been sidelined since being replaced during the first half of his side's recent loss to neighbours Paris FC 10 days ago.
The French giants hosted an in-house friendly on Saturday, which included 20-minute halves, and both Dembele and Achraf Hakimi were unable to join.
While Hakimi's absence was not a surprise, albeit disappointing, as been sidelined for a number of weeks, Dembele no-show was a concern.
Reports in France downplayed any significance of Dembele's absence, and the player has since spoken on his availability to face Arsenal in Budapest.
"I feel much better than on Sunday," Dembele told French outlet M6. "I had a little scare, but the doctor told me there was nothing to worry about.
"I felt a slight discomfort and I preferred not to take any risks. I will be back on the pitch on May 30."
Dembele's update is a huge boost for PSG, who are now able to field their full-strength, and very fearsome, forward line.
The former Barcelona forward has scored 19 goals this season, including seven in the Champions League.
It is less good news on Hakimi, who is not expected to fit to start the final in a huge blow to head coach Luis Enrique's plans.
The right-back has been sidelined since suffering a thigh injury during the Champions League semi-final first leg against Bayern Munich almost a month ago.
Hakimi is not expected to return to training until Wednesday, three days before the final and just two days before the squad are due in Hungary.
After four weeks out, Hakimi is a significant doubt to start any game, let alone one of the biggest of his career.
