Considering Chelsea got a creditable draw today, their player ratings on stats like FotMob weren’t particularly good.

Only four of them got a score of 7 or above. One of them, Levi Colwill, had some really outstanding stats in his first start all season.

His three interceptions were the most in the game. His 3 headed clearances were the most in the game. He contested 4 duels and won all 4. His total of 11 defensive contributions were the most in the game.

Chelsea limited Liverpool to just 0.16 xG from open play.

Colwill’s on the ball skills sublime as ever

We all know how good he is on the ball, and he didn’t let us down there either. Amazingly, he played 11 passes into the final third. Liverpool had nobody on their team who got more than 5, for context.

Colwill’s 91 touches was also the joint most in the game. You couldn’t ask for a better return for a centre back. The only question left now is how he wasn’t the top rated Blue in the game…
