Over 50,000 euros! Crazy price for Bayern star Kane’s jersey | OneFootball

Harry Kane’s historic Oktoberfest jersey fetched an incredible price at auction. The proceeds will go to a good cause.

A jersey worn by Harry Kane fetched a remarkable price at auction. The special Oktoberfest jersey, which the Bayern star wore during the 7-0 win over Union Berlin, sold for 55,000 euros, according to the seller, MatchWornShirt.

The jersey had previously been listed on the platform and was already at the equivalent of well over 10,000 euros a day before the auction ended. In the end, the price rose sharply once again.

This special piece comes from a historic Bundesliga match for Kane. During Bayern Munich’s 7-0 victory over Union Berlin, the Englishman converted a penalty kick in the 39th minute, scoring his 100th Bundesliga goal.

Kane made Bundesliga history against Union

Kane needed only 98 appearances to reach this milestone. He thus reached the mark faster than any other player in Bundesliga history and broke the previous record held by Dieter Müller, who had needed 129 games to do so.

The jersey up for auction was worn by Kane and subsequently signed by him. In addition to Kane’s jersey, worn and signed jerseys from other Bayern stars—including Jamal Musiala, Serge Gnabry, Michael Olise, Luis Díaz, Alphonso Davies, Minjae Kim, Jonathan Tah, and Dayot Upamecano—were also up for auction.

The majority of the proceeds from the auction will go toward the charitable projects of FC Bayern Hilfe e.V.

Thus, Kane’s historic evening is linked not only to a sporting record but also to exceptional collector’s value. The 55,000 euros paid for a single worn Bayern jersey impressively demonstrates the status the striker has now achieved among collectors as well.
