Oxford United and Queens Park Rangers finished 0-0 at the Kassam Stadium, a draw that keeps Oxford 23rd while the visitors drop from 11th to 12th.

Early on, Sam Long drove wide for Oxford after a bright break, with Stanley Mills and Will Vaulks also missing the target before the interval as the hosts pressed.

Jamie Cumming made two saves to keep Oxford level, while Joe Walsh was called into action once to smother the hosts' best opening after the restart.

After half time, Matt Bloomfield introduced Brodie Spencer at centre-back and later freshened the front line, while Julien Stéphan turned to Rhys Norrington-Davies down the left, but neither reshuffle found a breakthrough.

Will Lankshear required treatment midway through the first half but returned to continue before being replaced during the second half changes.

Oxford finished with 52.2% possession and nine attempts, but only one on target. The visitors registered 13 attempts and six corners, finding the target twice.

It is a second consecutive goalless draw for Oxford. Next, Oxford visit Leicester City. Queens Park Rangers host Wrexham.
