The Palestine national team will play two friendly clashes in Spain during the November international break. While La Roja themselves are engaged in World Cup qualifying games with Georgia and Turkiye, Palestine will take on two Federations within Spain.

Last month it was announced that Palestine and the Basque Country would be facing each other in a friendly on the 15th of November. The game will be held at San Mames in Bilbao, and is ‘in homage to the all of the victims of a genocide’.

Palestine to face Catalonia in friendly in Barcelona

After it was leaked earlier this week that Palestine had since proposed a friendly with the Catalan national team, RAC1 confirm that this proposal has been accepted, and the match will take place three days later in Barcelona on the 18th of November. The Council have already given the green light for the game to go ahead, and will loan them the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys at Montjuic.
