Palmeiras academy prospect scores bicycle-kick stunner in first-team training | OneFootball

Palmeiras stepped up preparations on Saturday morning at the Academia de Futebol, where an academy prospect produced a bicycle-kick stunner in training. According to Nosso Palestra, youngsters from the Crias da Academia again worked with the senior squad during the interseason programme.

The session at the club’s training base was led by the coaching staff as the group continued fitness and tactical drills. The youngsters are being monitored closely throughout this period.

The club’s next competitive fixture is on 23 July at 21:30, away to Coritiba at Estádio Couto Pereira in Curitiba. It forms part of the 19th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.

The current Paulista champions lead the national table with 41 points.

Palmeiras are also into the last 16 of both the Libertadores and the Copa do Brasil, where they will face Cerro Porteño and Fortaleza respectively.
