According to Nosso Palestra, Palmeiras have rebuffed approaches for 18-year-old midfielder Luis Pacheco, prioritising his long-term development.

An academy graduate, Pacheco has been part of the first-team squad since the start of the season and is seen as a leading prospect.

European clubs, whose identities remain undisclosed, made recent enquiries to gauge conditions for a potential deal.

The club halted any moves amid a high valuation and internal confidence in Pacheco’s potential, which has been evident in his outings this year.

In recent weeks, Palmeiras’ football department met the player’s representatives to align expectations for the present and future, including contract matters.

With a deal running until September 2028, both parties chose to keep the current terms and could revisit an extension after the season.

Pacheco has made nine first-team appearances in 2026.
