Palmeiras confirm first training match, double session completed and Primavera test scheduled | OneFootball

Palmeiras have confirmed their first training match of this interseason, to be played on Wednesday at the Academia de Futebol against Mauaense, with Primavera also lined up for Saturday.

According to Globo.com, the squad worked across two sessions on Tuesday at the Academia de Futebol, focusing on technical and tactical drills.

The morning centred on passing and marking with limited touches, plus exercises in the final third.

After lunch and rest, they returned in the afternoon, splitting into three teams to rehearse build-up play and transitions between defence and attack.

Vitor Roque continued his recovery from ankle surgery, completing indoor physiotherapy before heading to the pitch with the Health and Performance unit. Jefté also remained indoors.

Marlon Freitas and Abel Ferreira remain absent, along with other call-ups still at the World Cup. Giay, Piquerez and Emiliano Martínez are expected back at the Academia de Futebol soon, with the right-back due to return first.
