Palmeiras will officially debut Nubank Parque as their new home on Sunday, hosting Atlético-MG at 19:30 in the 20th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro. The match opens a new phase for the arena, which carried the Allianz Parque name for nearly 12 years.

According to Nosso Palestra, the change follows the expiry of Allianz’s naming-rights deal and the start of a partnership with Nubank. Despite the rebrand and fresh visuals, the stadium remains Palmeiras’ stage and a leading venue in South America.

Since its November 2014 opening, the Allianz Parque era ranks among the most successful in the club’s history. Palmeiras lifted two Campeonatos Brasileiros, two Libertadores, one Copa do Brasil, one Recopa Sul-Americana, one Supercopa do Brasil and various Campeonatos Paulistas.

The ground also became a fortress, with strong home results, record attendances and revenues, and a string of memorable nights for the supporters.

During the pause without matches, signage and in-stadium communications were updated to reflect Nubank’s identity, with further adjustments being introduced gradually.

The new name arrives at an important point in the campaign. Top of the Campeonato Brasileiro, Palmeiras aim to sustain their home form and begin the Nubank Parque chapter with a victory in front of their fans.
