Palmeiras will face Fortaleza in the Copa do Brasil last 16, with the first leg at Nubank Parque and the return at Castelão.

According to Nosso Palestra, the pairing was set by a draw at CBF headquarters on Tuesday, 26 May.

The ties are due after the World Cup, with first legs on 1 and 2 August, and the returns on 5 and 6 August, as scheduled by the CBF.

Fortaleza are fifth in Série B and are not enjoying a good spell this season after being relegated in 2025.

Next up for Verdão is Junior Barranquilla in the Copa Libertadores on 28 May, kick-off 19:00 Brasília time.
