Palmeiras graduates and ex-goalkeeper named in Brazil’s 2026 World Cup squad

Carlo Ancelotti has named Brazil's 26 for the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada, with no current Palmeiras players but several former representatives.
According to Nosso Palestra, goalkeeper Weverton has been called up for a second successive World Cup, with Botafogo's Danilo and Endrick, on loan at Lyon from Real Madrid, also included.
Goalkeepers: Alisson of Liverpool, Ederson of Fernerbahçe, Weverton of Grêmio.
Defenders: Marquinhos of PSG, Gabriel Magalhães of Arsenal, Ibañez of Al Ahli, Léo Pereira of Flamengo, Bremer of Juventus. Full-backs: Douglas Santos of Zenit, Alex Sandro of Flamengo, Wesley of Roma, Danilo of Flamengo.
Midfielders: Casemiro of Manchester United, Bruno Guimarães of Newcastle, Fabinho of Al Ittihad, Danilo Santos of Botafogo, Lucas Paquetá of Flamengo.
Forwards: Vinicius Jr of Real Madrid, Raphinha of Barcelona, Gabriel Martinelli of Arsenal, Matheus Cunha of Manchester United, Neymar Junior of Santos, Endrick of Lyon, Luiz Henrique of Zenit, Igor Thiago of Brentford, Rayan of Bournemouth.
Brazil remain in pursuit of a sixth title after quarter-final exits in 2018 and 2022. Under Ancelotti they have posted a good return and will aim to carry that into the finals.
