Palmeiras make YouTube global top 10 as Brazil’s only club on list | OneFootball

Palmeiras closed May among the most-watched football clubs on YouTube, drawing 43 million views to secure 10th worldwide and Brazil’s only top 10 place.

According to Nosso Palestra, FC Barcelona led the monthly ranking with 337 million views, ahead of Paris Saint-Germain on 180 million and Real Madrid on 173 million.

The rest of the top 10 comprised Inter Milan with 168 million, Arsenal 152 million, Manchester United 146 million, Bayern Munich 82 million, Manchester City 55 million and Liverpool 52 million.

The ranking underscores the growing weight of digital platforms for clubs, who use behind-the-scenes footage, interviews, training content and exclusives to widen reach and deepen ties with supporters.

Palmeiras’ inclusion highlights its ability to compete for audience attention off the pitch as well as on it. YouTube has become a core communications tool for clubs in recent years, helping to drive revenue, enhance sponsor value and expand international presence.
