Palmeiras player celebrates birthday with the Brazil squad

The left-back Arthur Gabriel turned 20 this Thursday (4th). The Palmeiras player celebrated his birthday with the Brazilian Under-20 National Team, which is gathered in Atibaia, in the interior of São Paulo, for the final preparation phase for the World Cup.

Arthur thanked his teammates for the congratulations and celebrated the opportunity to represent the Canarinha.

“First of all, I would like to thank God for another year of life. Celebrating with you is very special. Thank you to the staff and all of you for the warm welcome. Being here is a dream come true,” he said.

The Palmeiras player has accumulated extensive experience in the club's youth teams, having won competitions such as the Under-20 Brazilian Championship (2024 and 2025), Under-17 Brazilian Championship (2022), and Under-17 Brazil Cup (2022).

From September 1 to 9, Arthur and 25 other athletes called up by coach Ramon Menezes are gathered in Atibaia for the final preparation phase for the Under-20 World Cup.

The World Cup takes place from September 27 to October 19 in Chile. The Brazilian National Team is in Group C, alongside Mexico, Morocco, and Spain.
