Palmeiras have rejected a loan proposal from Parma for forward Erick Belé that included an option to buy.
According to Nosso Palestra, the offer set the option at four million euros, about R$ 23 million at current rates. The decision was taken in recent hours.
Palmeiras do not rule out a future deal for the attacker, but view the figure as well below expectations for a promising player.
Erick Belé joined the club in 2018, quickly impressing as both creator and goalscorer.
He was top scorer in the 2022 Paulista Under-15 with 19 goals. At Under-17 level, he maintained consistency and earned a Brazil Under-17 call-up.
He is contracted to Palmeiras until December 2028. This season for the senior side he has played four times, scoring one goal.
The club remain active in the market, working on midfielder Danilo’s arrival and facilitating exits, illustrated by Luighi’s loan to New York City.
