Palmeiras’ stadium has begun its rebrand to Nubank Parque, with May treated as a transition month and full rollout targeted for July after the World Cup pause.
According to Globo.com, internal advertising has already started switching from Allianz to the digital bank’s logo, while the club’s May home fixtures still list the venue as Allianz Parque.
The transition phase began with the naming decision, and will conclude once the refreshed look is in place.
Since the 2014 reopening, the ground has been called Allianz Parque. The insurer bought 20-year naming rights through 2034, a deal worth R$ 300 million, initially R$ 15 million per season and near R$ 25 million after inflation, yet seen as outdated.
Nubank opened talks last year with WTorre, which manages the arena until 2044. From 2045, operations pass fully to Palmeiras.
After agreeing a termination with Allianz, a new naming-rights owner was announced. Terms were not disclosed, but the package is estimated at US$ 10 million, R$ 51 million, per year to 2044.
Nubank Parque won the vote with 47.5%, edging Nubank Arena and Parque Nubank.
