Palmeiras terminate Fictor sponsorship after judicial recovery filing | OneFootball

According to Globo.com, Palmeiras have terminated their sponsorship with Fictor after the group filed for judicial recovery amid fallout from the Banco Master case.

The termination followed terms in the agreement, which cited breach and the filing as grounds, and the club is assessing legal steps to recover sums owed.

The three-year deal, signed in March 2025 with an option of one more year, was worth R$ 30 million per season, including R$ 25 million fixed and R$ 5 million in bonuses.

The outstanding amounts cited in the recovery filing relate to the most recent instalment and performance bonuses, which were due during January and were not paid.

Fictor considers that values should be discussed within the recovery process, as Palmeiras has become a creditor. Until the turn of the year the company had been paying on time, but difficulties have mounted.

Fictor became entangled in the Master case when a partner led a bid to buy the bank in November, a process halted after the Central Bank ordered the institution’s extrajudicial liquidation.

The company’s branding appears on the back of Palmeiras’ men’s and women’s shirts, and it is the academy’s main sponsor, as betting firms cannot feature on non-professional kits and Palmeiras are tied to Sportingbet.
