Alex Escobar, André Loffredo, Gato Mestre and Joanna de Assis each nailed four results from the opening round of the Brasileirão, taking an early joint lead in Palpite ge 2026.

According to Globo.com, the results that lit up social media were the wins for Athletico-PR and São Paulo. Every pundit backed Flamengo at São Paulo, but the hosts prevailed. Internacional were also a unanimous pick against Athletico, yet lost at home.

The ge predictions are made independently, with no one seeing another’s vote. Unanimity simply shows each analyst rated one side as favourites, a judgment that does not always hold and often sparks debate online.

Fluminense v Grêmio brought more success for the panel. Only Kelly Costa called a draw, while the others correctly went for a Fluminense win.

Elsewhere, expectations were overturned. In Corinthians v Bahia, none of the pundits picked a Bahia victory, and the visitors surprised in their opener. In Chapecoense v Santos, only Fred Bruno predicted a Chapecoense win.
