Paquetá starts as Flamengo confirm XI to face Palmeiras | OneFootball

Flamengo have named Lucas Paquetá in their starting line-up to face Palmeiras on Saturday in the 17th round of the Brasileirão.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the starting XI is: Rossi, Varela, Léo Ortiz, Léo Pereira, Alex Sandro, Evertton Araújo, Jorginho, Lucas Paquetá, Carrascal, Samuel Lino and Pedro.

Flamengo have three confirmed absentees for this match, Arrascaeta, Danilo and Everton Cebolinha, while the rest of the squad is available.

The Rio side sit second in the league on 31 points. Palmeiras have 35 and have played one game more.

A win would take Flamengo to 34 points, and they could overtake Palmeiras if they also win their game in hand against Mirassol.

Kick-off is on Saturday 23 at 21:00 Brasília time at the Maracanã, with expectation of a full house.
