Paratici starts as Fiorentina sporting director after Tottenham exit | OneFootball

Fabio Paratici began work as Fiorentina’s sporting director on Wednesday, following his departure from Tottenham Hotspur earlier this year.

According to Football Italia, he arrived in Florence and went straight to the Viola Park training centre.

An introductory press conference is expected on Thursday.

Paratici joins with the Viola in the Serie A relegation zone after a dismal start to the 2025-26 campaign under former head coach Stefano Pioli. They are one point from safety with 15 games remaining.

This is his first role in Italy outside Juventus and Sampdoria, where he began as a director. He more recently worked at Tottenham, first as managing director then as sporting director, across two spells, from 2021 until his 30-month ban took effect in 2023, and from October 2025 until early 2026.
