Parejo, now without a club after his final Villarreal outing on Sunday, says he would consider a return to Valencia if the chance arises.
The Coslada midfielder spent six seasons at Villarreal, winning the Europa League in 2021, after nine years at Valencia. He made the remarks on El Larguero on SER.
"Valencia has been my life," he said. "If the opportunity comes, I would have to weigh everything. Valencia are one of the best clubs in Europe with an incredible fanbase, the titles and the history are there."
His 2020 departure from Valencia was contentious given his relationship with Meriton and then president Anil Murthy. Inside Mestalla there has been no sign of interest in a return, or at least it is not a move Valencia are considering right now.
He also insisted money would be the least important factor, joking, 'just not that I end up paying'.
Valencia supporters would be delighted with his comeback, viewing him as a legend who left by the back door. The transfer window has yet to open and rumours and offers are already on the table.
