For this game, Luis Enrique will have to do without his skipper Marquinhos who was not deemed fit enough to take part in this game following his knock sustained against Liverpool midweek. Additionally, Joao Neves will start this clash on the bench as will Bradley Barcola replaced by Désiré Doué who has been called-up with France senior team for the first time this week.

PSG triumph over Marseille in the Classique

The clash between the top two teams of the league started in an incandescent atmosphere at the Parc des Princes, with the hosts dominating on the ball in the first 15 minutes of the game. And after 17 minutes, the in-form Ousmane Dembélé opened the score for the French Champions, making it 21 league goals on the season. Fabian Ruiz sent the Frenchman to a one-on-one with Rulli with a wonderful through ball.

Following Dembélé's opener, the visitors improved their pressing and created more chances through counterattacks. The next 15 minutes of the game were all for the visitors, putting Paris on the back foot. Donnarumma was put to contribution a couple of times in this interval, while his defenders blocked a few more opportunities from De Zerbi's side.

Though, Paris regained control of the game and doubled their lead as Fabian Ruiz delivered his second assists of the game to Nuno Mendes just before half-time (42').

Five minute inside the second half, Gouiri halved Marseille's deficit. Adrien Rabiot enjoyed a slack back pass from Nuno Mendes to serve his teammate(51'). Dembélé came close to make it 3-1 for his side but saw his effort hit Rulli's left post (59'). Understandably, the intensity level dropped on PSG's side following their midweek Champions League clash against Liverpool.

SSubstitute Pol Lirola scored an own goal to make it 3-1 for the hosts following a cross from Hakimi to seal Paris' win over their rivals (76').
