Paris FC had been set to return to pre-season training on Wednesday. However, as per a report from L’Équipe, this return has been delayed amid talks with former Chelsea and RC Strasbourg Alsace manager Liam Rosenior.
Antoine Kombouaré replaced Stéphane Gilli back in February. At the time of his appointment, Paris FC were threatened by relegation. The Kanak oversaw a spectacular return to form, allowing Les Parisiens to secure a very comfortable mid-table finish.
However, there have since been doubts regarding his continuation at the club. He sought to dispel talk of an exit, stating last week that he would be present for the start of pre-season training. However, L’Équipe understands that the return has been pushed back.
Paris FC had been set to return on Wednesday, 1st July, however, they will now return on 9th July. The delay, the publication adds, comes amid talks with Rosenior. The Englishman has emerged as Les Parisiens’ first-choice target and should be appointed as their new manager.
