According to L'Équipe, the Paris labour court has ordered Paris Saint-Germain to pay about €61 million to Kylian Mbappé after he complained of unpaid salary, bonuses and paid leave at the end of his 2024 contract.
The ruling carries provisional enforcement, meaning the club must pay immediately even if it lodges an appeal. Mbappé now plays for Real Madrid.
The court set €36,666,680 gross as a reminder for the third instalment of his signing bonus, granted when he extended his deal in 2022. It also added €3,666,666.80 gross in paid leave on that amount.
Unpaid salary for April, May and June 2024 totals €17,250,000 gross, with €1,725,000 gross in paid leave on those wages.
The decision includes €1,500,000 gross for the ethics bonus for April, May and June 2024, plus €150,000 gross in paid leave on that bonus.
