Jess Park has completed a permanent transfer to Manchester United.
A product of our youth system after joining City in 2017, Park went on to make 122 appearances for her childhood club.
Only three active members of the squad have featured more for the Blues, with the 23-year-old sitting 12th in our all-time rankings.
She made her senior debut for City in December 2017 as a substitute in a League Cup win over Doncaster Belles, with a first senior goal following in December 2018.
Indeed, Park has shown her eye for the spectacular in numerous occasions at the Club, including two remarkable strikes against Arsenal and Crystal Palace on the road last season.
The midfielder won four major honours during her time at City, first as part of our League Cup-winning squad of 2018/19.
She followed that up by helping Nick Cushing’s side win the FA Cup later that season and in 2020, with another League Cup triumph following in 2022.
Park then enjoyed a hugely successful loan spell at Everton for the 2022/23 WSL campaign, earning her a first senior England call-up in the process.
She made her debut in November 2022 during a friendly against Japan and found the net just over 60 seconds later in a 4-0 win.
Returning to the Joie Stadium ahead of the 2023/24 campaign, a switch into a more central role saw the youngster flourish in the second half of the season as City took the WSL title race to the final day.
She was also City’s derby hero in March 2024, grabbing a brace in a 3-1 win over Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium.
Park remained a regular in 2024/25, scoring a stunning long-range effort on the opening day against Arsenal at Emirates Stadium, and finished the campaign with eight goals and four assists in all competitions.
The midfielder left a lengthy, heartfelt message of thanks to the Club on her departure which you can read in full here.
Everyone at Manchester City would like to thank Jess for her incredible contributions to the Club and wish her the very best in her future career.
