Inter Milan wingback Carlos Augusto is looking forward to Sunday’s home clash against Napoli after tonight’s win over Parma.
Speaking to DAZN via FCInterNews, the Brazilian defender stressed the importance of today’s victory.
Cristian Chivu oversaw his sixth consecutive league win for the first time since taking charge of the club.
Indeed, Inter beat Parma at Stadio Ennio Tardini in their first away game of 2026.
Federico Dimarco and Marcus Thuram found the net on either side of halftime to inspire the Nerazzurri to all three points.
Meanwhile, Carlos Augusto made his sixth Serie A start of the season, replacing Alessandro Bastoni at the back.
Paired with Manuel Akanji and Yann Bisseck, Augusto helped Inter fend off Parma, preventing the Crusaders from attempting a single shot on target.
Therefore, Chivu’s men have set themselves up perfectly for the upcoming home clash against Napoli.

Inter refused to underestimate Parma, stretching their unbeaten run against the Crusaders to seven Serie A matches.
Furthermore, the Nerazzurri have preserved their stellar run at the Tardini, where they haven’t lost since 2014.
“We’re focused on ourselves,” Augusto stated. “It was important to win today. We do our job, then think about the others.
“We have to do our part because the league is still long.”
Moreover, Augusto hailed Dimarco, who remains the most prolific defender across Europe’s top-five leagues.
Tonight’s goal marked Dimarco’s eighth goal contribution in 17 Serie A games this season.
Asked whether the Italian star could surpass his personal record of 11 goal contributions, Augusto said: “How many is it? Eight? Yes, he can get there.”
Inter extended their lead at the top of the Serie A table over second-placed AC Milan to four points.
