Fabrizio Romano reports that Parma will exercise their option to buy Inter Miami midfielder Benjamin Cremaschi for four million euros, following his loan spell that began in September.
Cremaschi, 21, made nine appearances before a knee injury against Torino in February sidelined him for the rest of the Serie A season. Parma finished 13th with 45 points.
Football Italia suggested coach Carlos Cuesta could hand Cremaschi more minutes in a second Serie A campaign.
American Soccer Now noted the move would be a significant step, citing his training levels and professionalism as reasons for Parma triggering the clause.
The midfielder scored eight goals and provided nine assists in 107 appearances for Inter Miami.
He captained the United States Under-20s at the FIFA U20 World Cup and won the Golden Boot with five goals and two assists, including a hat-trick in 37 minutes against New Caledonia. He was later named U.S. Soccer 2025 Young Male Player of the Year.
