Parma ‘to enter talks’ over Mariano Troilo if £17m is bettered, with Leeds United, Sunderland and Fulham linked | OneFootball

Sunderland, Leeds United and Fulham have been linked with Parma centre-back Mariano Troilo, with ParmaLive reporting that Fulham saw an offer of around £17m rejected and that the Italian club want more before serious talks.

Parma are understood to be open to talks if any suitor goes above that figure. No fresh bids have arrived, but all three are said to be in the frame.

Troilo joined Parma from Belgrano last summer in a deal worth around £6.8m, with the 2025-26 campaign his first season outside South America.

After a slow start in Serie A, he grew in stature during the second half and started 17 league games. A standout display came in a 1-0 win at AC Milan, when Fulham’s interest is said to have emerged.

Parma are in no rush to sell, with Troilo viewed as an important part of Carlos Cuesta’s project.

It is suggested his value could continue to rise next season, so clubs may judge this summer the right time to move. Parma have a reputation for selling at the right price, with several players attracting interest across Europe.
