Paul Pogba misses Monaco’s Champions League trip to Real Madrid | OneFootball

According to Get French Football News, Paul Pogba has not travelled to Spain for AS Monaco’s UEFA Champions League tie with Real Madrid.

The midfielder has been sidelined for over a month with a calf problem. He was not expected to be included for Tuesday’s game.

Monaco flew to the Spanish capital on Monday morning, with a training session scheduled at the Bernabéu at 18:00 local time.

Pogba is among several absentees. Lukas Hradecky, Christian Mawissa, Mohammed Salisu and Takumi Minamino are also out, while Lamine Camara and Krépin Diatta have not returned from AFCON in time.

Stanis Idumbo, who missed Friday’s defeat to FC Lorient, is back after illness.

Monaco have nine points in the Champions League after six matchdays, leaving Sébastien Pocognoli’s side in search of points in the final two matchdays.
