Pavel Sulc suffered a hamstring problem on Sunday night during Lyon’s 1-3 defeat at Strasbourg and could miss two important matches.

According to L'Équipe, the Czech forward left after 28 minutes at La Meinau and was replaced by Noah Nartey.

Head coach Paulo Fonseca said he could not yet gauge the severity and needed to speak to the doctor, with clarity expected on Monday. He described it as a muscle problem.

Lyon visit Marseille on Sunday evening to close the 24th round of Ligue 1, then host Lens four days later in the Coupe de France quarter-final.

Sulc’s involvement in those fixtures remains uncertain.
