The Court of Arbitration for Sport has scheduled a 28 May hearing in the case brought by Pedro Caixinha and members of his staff against Santos, according to Globo.com.
The Portuguese managed Santos between January and April 2025. He and his backroom team are seeking R$ 15 million under their contract termination agreement.
Santos pursued a payment plan in instalments, but Caixinha’s camp insisted on a lump-sum settlement.
Caixinha took the dispute to FIFA and won. The decision ordered Santos to pay R$ 13 million, and the club appealed to CAS.
Assistants Pedro Malta, José Prata and José Belman also prevailed against Santos at FIFA and are involved in the CAS hearing.
Caixinha oversaw 16 matches with Santos, recording six wins, three draws and seven defeats.
